In February 2009, the very spectacular area of Balm Mint Bush understory to E. Regnans (Mountain Ash) at Mount Disappointment VIC (off Board Road) was destroyed by the Kilmore Fire Complex along with the Mountain Ash. It remains to be seen if it will regenerate.
