Reception

The movie got mostly positive reviews from critics.Puneeth got critical appreciation for his excellent expressions and body language. Parvathi Menon has also done good job. While Avinash and John Kokin is impressive with their villanious role. Camera by P Sathya and music by Manikant Kadri too is good.

Relevance to the current affairs: Entry & tacit support of many mining & realty barons into politics has set a bad precedent n already Karnataka's political landscape is endangered & has lost credibility, which will definitely change the way & how our political system will function in future.
No wonder, Karnataka is the most corrupt state in India as per some famous periodical is not an aberration but a reality because of the people we are choosing as our representatives.

The film which has this real theme is already a hit running for more than 150 days in some centres & still being screened in PVR Bangalore, which is a statement in itself, because most Kannada films rarely share screening in Multiplex with many Hollywood, Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood movies released every week & holding on it for days like a forte, is an achievement..

Wish more real & original films like this would be made in Kannada in future too...
