Alexander's father, Karl Friedrich, Prince von Hohenzollern (born 1952) married Alexandra Schenk Countess of Stauffenberg (born 1960). Together they have four children: Alexander, Philippa, Flaminia and Antonia. They were amicably divorced in January, 2010.
