PrideFest is an annual gay pride event held on the Henry Maier Festival Park
(Summerfest
) grounds in Milwaukee
on the second weekend of June. PrideFest celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2007, which was also a record-breaking attendance year with 27,467 tickets sold over three days.
In 2010 Pridefest featured Lena Katina
in their line-up. Lena comes from the famous Russian duo t.A.T.u.
Although they're on a hiatus to focus on their solo albums.
In 2010, Pridefest set an all-time attendance record of 30,358 attendees, attributed in part to high-level entertainment including Kathy Griffin, Joan Rivers, and Patti LaBelle.
