Formerly known as the National Tournament, President's Cup (since 2005), is said to be the birth of this beautiful game in Maldives. The very first of this tournament was held in 1946 and in the year 2007, we saw the 57th edition of this prestigous domestic sports extravaganza. The first edition ended with Customs and Naadhee Ahthamadhun both sharing the trophy.
The current format of the President's Cup allow only the top four teams of Dhivehi League to participate.
