As of August 2009, Premiere Cinemas owns and operates 18 theatres with 135 screens in Texas, 44 screens in Alabama, 22 screens in Florida and 14 in New Mexico.

Digital Projection Conversion

Following the cinema industries shift towards digital projection, Premiere Cinemas will have converted 180 of its 201 screens to DLP Digital Projection by the end of 2009.

Two of Premiere Cinemas locations in Alabama were built without a traditional projection booth. Instead, the digital cinema equipment is mounted on a platform supported from the ceiling in the rear of the auditorium.
