The Portaro was an all-terrain vehicle manufactured in Portugal by FMAT (Fabrica de Máquinas Agrícolas do Tramagal). The Portaro was derived from an early version of the Romanian ARO
, and was available in two main versions, the Jipe and the Pick-up (Campina). At the same time, limited numbers of the Romanian ARO TV (short for Tudor Vladimirescu
) light van were produced under the name Tagus.
