Publications Department

The Portage High School Publications Department (PHSPD) is the Student Publications Department of Portage High School. The department produces the school newspaper (the Pow Wow), which is a 2011 Hoosier Star Finalist. Also, the student yearbook the (Legend) and a website titled PHSNewsOnline.com. The website provides school news as well as local and national news. The department also runs a student produced internet radio station, "Pow Wow Radio", which is broadcast on BlogTalkRadio. The station does not broadcast between June and August due to summer vacation. Indians News Network is a morning news broadcast at the school.
