Port Authority is a 2001 play by Conor McPherson
. It tells of three interwoven lives: a boy leaves home for the first time; a man starts a job for which he is unqualified; a pensioner is sent a mysterious package.
The play was first produced by The Gate Theatre
of Dublin but premiered at the New Ambassadors Theatre
in London
in February 2001, before moving to the Gate Theatre
in April of that year. The production was directed by Conor McPherson
himself.
