. The filming took place in Goa

earlier in 2011, and a long schedule was also shot in Siberia
, St Petersburg and other locations in India.
Players was set to release on 9 December 2011 with Agent Vinod (2012 film) and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, but is now pushed to 6 January 2012 making it the first release of 2012.
players first look was unveiled on 3 November 2011 and music is said to be releasing on 30 november. The track used in the trailer is said to be from Need for speed game and the makers have bought the rights for it.
