Nicolas Dansereau is a Canadian professional wrestler
, better known by his ringname Player Uno, who currently competes most notably for the Chikara and Inter Species Wrestling (ISW) promotions
. He bases his gimmick, moveset, and attire (like references to Mario, Luigi and Wario) around video games, more specifically games for the NES
and SNES
consoles. He regularly forms a team with Stupefied / Player Dos
called the Super Smash Bros.
One of his trademarks is his former pants, which had an NES controller design on one side of them; if the Pause button was pressed, he would stop moving, and if his opponent hit him while he was "paused", he wouldn't feel it until after he was "unpaused". Also, in this condition, if the A or B buttons were pressed, he would strike with his left or right hand. The pause button was removed when Uno debuted his most recent attire in early 2009.

as the Super Smash Brothers. The team found success as they soon won the IWS Tag Team Championship. Uno also found success as a singles competitor as he also won the IWS Canadian Championship. He remained with the promotion until it folded on October 9, 2010.
