Coming from a middle class family where both his parents were state government employee pitobash dreamed of this acting career. He is always fascinated towards cinema and from his childhood he wanted to be an actor only. At the age of 12 he got National Balshree Award from the president of India in the field of creative performance, which worked as a huge inspiration to follow his dream. Along with his engineering studies he did theatre in Kolkata with eminent theatre personality like Shantanu Bose who is now a faculty in National School of Drama
