Phil Keith-Roach was the Rugby Union
scrum coach to the England 2003 Rugby World Cup
side.
Keith-Roach was a three time Cambridge Blue playing as a hooker. Subsequently he went on to become the captain of Rosslyn Park F.C.
for over ten years.
After his teaching career ended he became the first full time professional scrum coach in England firstly at Wasps, and then with England. He remained as England scrum coach after Sir Clive Woodward
left the England setup but left when Andy Robinson
was dismissed.
It was announced in February 2009 that he would be joining the coaching staff at Sale Sharks
as forwards coach for the 2009/10 season under Jason Robinson
.
