Philip Henry "Phil" Griffiths (25 October 1905 – 14 May 1978) was a former Welsh
international footballer. He played 118 games for Port Vale
, including 85 in the Football League
and scored 43 goals, 30 of which were in the league.

in order to win a contract at one of the Potteries clubs
. He became a regular in the side from 1929, but was sold to Everton
for £6,000 in May 1931. He later moved on to West Bromwich Albion
