Petra Blaisse

Petra Blaisse is a Dutch designer.
In 1987 she started her career as a freelance designer for the Stedelijk Museum
in Amsterdam. There she focused mostly on architectural installations and later shifted her focus to landscape design as well as textiles and interiors.
In 1999 Blaisse began to invite specialists from around the world to work with her and together they formed the group Inside Outside. This group works on projects throughout the world. Blaisse alone has given many lectures throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. In 2000 Inside Outside had their first solo exhibit in Soho, NY at the Storefront for Art and Architecture and since then the work of Blaisse and her colleagues has been featured in numerous exhibits throughout the world.
