Peter Allen is one of the ten current States of Alderney Member

Peter Allen was born and went to school in Alderney, after doing an apprenticeship in as an electrician, and then joined the British Army
and served for 7 years. Whilst serving he met and married Diane his wife,with whom they have 3 children, now back home In Alderney working as an electrician and serving on the states of Alderney. Allen is also member of the Alderney Lifeboat crew.
He has been ejected from two meetings (something that is frowned upon greatly), after shouting in the first and being shouted at in the second respective incidents.
