- Usually unilateral and first noticed in the neonatal period.
- Associated with micropthalmos.
- Lens may be cataractous.
- Intraocular pressure may be high.
- Elongated ciliary processes are visible through the dilated pupil.
- USG B-scan confirms diagnosis in the presence of a cataract.
