History

The club was formed in 1971. The best and fairest in the first season was awarded to Edward "Nobby" Clark, an ex Sydney Naval player and NSW representative with a classy left foot, originally from Western Australia. Pennant Hills were promoted to the top Sydney grade, the SFL (now Sydney AFL Premier Division) in 1977.

The club has twice won the premiership. Their first premiership was in 2000, when they defeated North Shore 15.12 (102) to 12.7 (79) at Macquarie University

. Their second was in 2006, in driving rain on a quagmire at Henson Park. The Demons scored eight behinds in a row, all of them on the run, to come from six points down to defeat the previously undefeated East Coast Eagles
