The Crash of '47 is the first studio album released by the American experimental metal band Atomship. It was released on May 4, 2004 and was produced by Dave Fortman . The song "Time for People" was released on the Wind-Up soundtrack for the movie The Punisher...

. It was written by original singer Derek Pardoe. A video for the song was recorded in late 2004, just before the disbanding of Atomship, while the song had decent airplay on rock radio across the country. The video can be viewed here. It was also on NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup.
