Pembrey Country Park consists of some 500 acres of parkland. Its southern edge has the 8 mile long Cefn Sidan beach. The park contains visitor attractions such as ski slope, adventure play areas and mountain bike trails. The land which the park is now located served industrial uses in the 20th century. Railway lines, WW2 bunkers and pill boxes still remain.
