Its name is a tribute to Paulo Leminski, curitibano writer of the twentieth century, and because the place formerly had served as a Municipal Pedreira, a plant of asphalt. Today the site is surrounded by a wall of rock thirty meters (100') high. Located in the neighborhood of Abranches, the site has about 103,500 metres, and its stage has around 480m². It was planted in 1990.
