The Pavilions of Troy concept would create an open air town square for the city. The project was approved for construction by the city of Troy on the former K-Mart headquarters complex, the Pavilions of Troy was estimated to be a $320 M to $380 M development with 500000 square feet (46,451.5 m²) of retail, 300000 square feet (27,870.9 m²) of office space, 750 residential units, a 250 room hotel, and a 3,000 seat theatre on a 40 acres (161,874.4 m²) site adjacent to Somerset Collection
