Since 2005, he has been the bassist for the seminal sludge metal

. In 2008, he joined Eyehategod
side project, Outlaw Order, but has since parted ways with the group. He began touring as live bassist with New Orleans heavy metal supergroup Down
in early 2011, and has since been confirmed as a permanent member.
