The company, which is based in Glen Allen, Virginia, currently has 34 locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Additional locations will be opening in Maryland and Pennsylvania in 2011.

The company has not been nor is currently affiliated with other companies that have used the name Patient First in other areas of the United States. Nor has the company ever been affiliated with FPA Medical Management or US Healthnet.
