Pat McMahon is a former American college and professional baseball
coach.
In his twelve seasons as a head coach, he has compiled a career record of 527-259-1. He served as the head coach of Old Dominion

. He has appeared in two College World Series

. In the 2005 College World Series, he led Florida to a national championship series, but ultimately lost to the Augie Garrido

He has a wife named Sherrie. Together, they have a daughter, Logan, and a son, Wells.
He has made four Super Regional appearances: in 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2005. He has compiled eight 40-win seasons, and 13 30-win seasons, and received seven Coach of the Year awards.
On June 7, 2007, the University of Florida announced that McMahon had been fired.
On September 29, 2007, Baby-Bombers.com reported that McMahon had accepted a position with the New York Yankees and will also be the manager of the Staten Island Yankees
