Pasi Hurri is the current President and CEO of BaseN
, a global next generation real-time data management solution provider with headquarters in Finland. Hurri established BaseN Corporation in 2001 together with a powerful team of Finnish technology professionals.

Starting from infrastructure monitoring and reporting services for the enterprise and telecommunications market, Hurri began to see more potential to fully unfold BaseN's technology capabilities in the Smart Grid area.
BaseN’s vision stems from Hurri’s military background from the Finnish Air Force Communications College where he became acquainted with Clausewitz principles
on the importance of having an accurate view of the situation at all times.
