Pashi (tribe)

The Pashi are an ethnic group considered to be a Hazara tribe in Afghanistan; they are found Jaghori
and Malistan districts. The group may not be originally Hazara, but possibly a Pashtun group which has been assimilated by the Hazara. Other researchers, however, believe the Pashi to be among the Hazara directly descended from Genghis Khan's troops.
Jaghori District
