 in order to create a sense of depth. The game also aims to incorporate more action segments as well as platforming elements as opposed to previous games.

Paper Mario 3DS will feature a new interface to take advantage of the 3DS's touch screen, which is where most of the in-game information will be displayed. Additionally, Paper Mario 3DS will have a new gameplay feature in the form of stickers. These will give Mario certain power-ups and be used to overcome obstacles throughout the course of the game.
