There are four described species:
  • Pangshura smithii - Brown roofed turtle (formerly in Kachuga)
  • Pangshura tecta - Indian roofed turtle (formerly in Kachuga)
  • Pangshura tentoria - Indian tent turtle (formerly in Kachuga)
  • Pangshura tatrotia
  • Pangshura sylhetensis - Assam roofed turtle
