The Imperials began their inaugural season in November 2006, where they will play at "The Burrow" the home arena of Florida Atlantic University

 in Boca Raton. At this point, the Imperials have played exhibition games versus local men's basketball teams, to USBL franchises, all of which have ended in victory.

They made their debut on the ABA Top 24 Power Rankings on February 19, 2007.
