Paisley RFC

Paisley Rugby Club is an amateur rugby union club based at the Anchor Recreation Grounds in Paisley. The club is currently in the Scottish West Region Division 3.

The club runs two adult teams and a host of youth teams. The 1st XV is coached by Grant Sweenie and John Farren and captained by Ryan McCready.
The Development XV is captained by Paul Johnstone and managed by Jim Lewis.
With a mix of youth and experience, Paisley's first XV were a major force in the 2010/11 season and finished as runners-up in West Region Division 2, a point behind eventual winners McLaren FP. Following a league restructure, Paisley have been included in the new West Region Division 3 for the 2011/12 season.

In July 2011, former Paisley club captain Grant Sweenie returned to the club as head coach, having left Premier II club Hillhead at the end of the 2010/11 season.
