Due to the restrictive screen resolution of the Game Boy Advance, the player is given the choice of two methods for viewing the playfield in Pac-Man: scroll mode, where the playfield automatically scrolls to follow Pac-Man, or full-screen, where the entire playfield is displayed in miniature form.

Reception

The game was criticized for cutting out pieces of the sound and music, for inconsistent problems with both screen options for Pac-Man, and for lacking a save facility, so players' high scores cannot be stored in the games. However, Pac-Attack features a password feature.
