Patrick 'Pa' Cronin is an Irish
sportsman. He plays hurling

and has been a member of the Cork senior inter-county team since 2007.

in 2003 and 2004 before later moving onto the club's under-21 team. He won another set of county titles
in this grade in 2006 and 2007. As a member of the club's top team Cronin won a premier intermediate county title
in 2006.

By 2006 Cronin had joined the Cork senior hurling team, however, he played no part in the county's championship campaign. He made his senior debut in the National Hurling League
in 2007, before making his senior championship debut against Clare
in the Munster quarter-final later that same year. That year he became one of Cork's chief scorers, capturing 3 goals and 7 points in his seven appearances. Unfortunately, Cork's season ended without a senior Munster or All-Ireland title. Cronin also played with the Cork under-21 hurling team that year and added a Munster
medal to his collection.
