The PSA World Series Finals is the end of season championship of the PSA World Tour
of male professional squash
players. The top 8 players in the PSA World Series
qualify for the event. The 8 players compete in 2 groups of 4 and play a round robin to determine the semi-finalists. The competition then becomes a knock-out competition to determine the PSA World Series Finals champion. The event has been staged since 1993 in Zurich, Hatfield, London and Manchester and then London again. The event has prize money of $110,000. The 2011 final between Nick Matthew
and Amr Shabana
had to be cancelled due to a problem with the venue.
