Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oulu UAS) is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Finland

 with approximately 9,000 students, including around 150 international degree students. Annually the number of incoming exchange students exceeds 250.

Oulu UAS offers multi-field education in Engineering, Business Administration, Social and Health Services, Natural Resources, Music, Dance, Media and Vocational Teacher Education. All fields have courses in English. In 2009 three of Oulu UAS’s thirty Bachelor’s programmes and two Master’s programmes are taught entirely in English.

Together with local enterprises, Oulu UAS has a strong focus on the applied re-search and development activities in its core areas. These activities ensure high-quality education and constant development of the university of applied sciences.
