. He played Haruki Kiriu in Futatsu no Spica and Kazuki Nanami in Ninkyo Helper. In 2010 he received much love from his role in the very popular NHK drama Gegege no Nyobo, which earned him Best Supporting Actor in the Television Drama Academy Awards. In the same year he appeared in the second season of Hotaru no Hikari as the love rival of Takano Seiichi. He also had supporting roles in the following dramas 5 Nen Go no Love Letter, Shinzanmono and Kikoku. As well as receiving many role in dramas, he was also offered many movie roles and he appeared in BECK and Hanamizuki.
