Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour was the fourth highest state decoration
awarded in Yugoslavia
. It was awarded to the citizens, companies and sports teams for the outstanding achievements in their professional work. The order was awarded a total of 114 times until 1986. After the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia, awarding of the Order was discontinued.
Along with the order, the recipient was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labour .

The Order of the Hero of socialist labour was founded on on 8 December 1948 in resemblance to the Soviet title of Hero of Socialist Labour. The order was awarded by the President of Yugoslavia.Recipients
