History

Order of Ennead was formed in Tampa, Florida in 2007 when guitarist/vocalist Kevin Quirion ran into bass player Scott Patrick at a Cradle of Filth

 was interested in a jam session with the two of them. Scott Patrick was interested, and eventually the three began to play and write songs together. Lead guitarist John Li joined the band soon after, when Scott Patrick approached him. Li had met Patrick through his guitar teacher, Ralph Santolla

When the band originally began working together, Quirion considered working under the band name Council of the Fallen, but decided that they would take on a new name since it became an entirely new project for all. Quirion took the name Ennead
