Internet Services

In 2009, Orange Jordan offered higher ADSL speeds to its Jordanian customer to reach 4 Mbit/s and 8 Mbit/s. However, there has been a public outcry to Orange Jordan to enhance its already offered Internet speeds of 1 Mbit/s and 2 Mbps.
This public call was caused by customers' accumulating bad experiences with the quality of Internet services which has been blogged about and commentated by huge numbers of viewers. For example, in July 2008, the differences between the actual and advertised speeds led Naseem Tarawnah to complain about it in a blog post.
Another blogger was dissatisfied with the download cap placed on all of the Orange Internet offered speeds as when the customer reach the download limit, his/her Internet speed will tremendously drop until the next billing cycle. Dissatisfaction with pricing Orange Internet lines was highlighted in another post especially when compared with offers in other countries.
An open letter was also recently posted by a customer with the frustration he is having with the service in general, as it seems Orange in Jordan is not doing a good job at all
