OpCon is the job scheduler
and IT automation product from Software & Management Associates (SMA). Since its first release in 1995 it had been called OpCon/xps (OPerations CONtrol/Cross(X) Platform Scheduler). With the release of Version 5 in 2011, with a completely new user interface, SMA decided to rename the product to just OpCon.
