Star members can instantly start games that they host without having to wait for countdowns, as well as play exclusive games and beta games, earn 50% more XP per game, and get a "Star" label next to their name. Star membership also provides more options to users who host games, including the ability to block non-members/friends and those below/above a certain level from joining the match. A Star membership can be obtained in four ways: Users who buy at least 100 Omgpop Cash (10 USD) through the Cash store will receive Star membership for a limited period of time, which varies from 3 months to 1 year depending on the amount of cash purchased. When 10 of them reach level 10 or higher, the recruiter receives Star for life. Members can also attain permanent Star membership for free when their accounts reach level 100. Members who submit comments, suggestions, or who participate in certain contests are sometimes given free Star membership by the Omgpop crew.
