outside the UK with the recordings going through 3mv/vital and later on Pinnacle distribution.

In 1999 the label hit financial difficulties, which led to the label delaying the issuing of new releases and withholding salaries from its artists.

In December 2001, the label filed for voluntary liquidation after losing their distribution deal with Sony and failing to secure a new deal. It was later revealed that the label had debts of £2.25 million and chose to not inform its artists of the labels plans to file for liquidation, leaving many of its artists in significant debt. One of the labels artists, Lowgold, later revealed that despite their salaries being repeatedly withheld and suggesting to the label that they would get day jobs, Galpern repeatedly told them there was no need and that they would soon be paid.

Despite filing for voluntary liquidation in 2001, and leaving its artists unpaid, in debt and without record deals Nude returned in 2005 with the release of the compilation album, Future's Burning. It featured songs from up-and-coming British bands like Franz Ferdinand
