 is a rare benign mass consisting of dense, hypocellular bundles of collagenous tissue with entrapped adipocytes and increased numbers of small nerves. It most commonly occurs on the posterior neck (hence the term nuchal), but also occurs in other locations.

and are then called Gardner fibromas. They typically occur in multiple locations and may be the first manifestation of the disease. Lesions may be more cellular than traditional nuchal fibroma without a lobular growth pattern.
