Norwich Pharmaceuticals is a manufacturer, packager and distributor of prescription drugs and over-the-counter products. Laboratory support services include stability evaluation, microbiological testing, analytical testing and method development. The company was formed in 1887.

drug Actonel was launched. The Norwich, NY, plant was purchased from Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals in 2001 and transitioned into its current role as an outsourcing provider to the pharmaceutical industry. A long-term contract was signed with Procter & Gamble
