. It was the terminus of the now defunct Northfield railway line and consisted of a single platform and shelter. It was closed in 1987, and has since been demolished.

History

The Northfield station and line dates back to 1857. The station was located on the eastern side of Briens Road, but the station was relocated to the western side of the road to prevent road vehicles from being interrupted by the arrival of trains. The new station opened in 1961, but the patronage
