Northern Forest Archipelago
Encyclopedia
The Northern Forest Archipelago, or NFA, is a micronation
in the northeastern United States. It consists of various members' properties in the Northern Forest. Since these bits are not connected, they are said by the NFA to be an archipelago. The NFA is very environmental in its laws and themes, environmentalism being the reason it was founded.
While the NFA is certainly a respectable entity of the area that contains it, it is important to note that its namesake actually refers to "The Northern Forest," a span of 30000000 acres (121,405.8 km²) that covers northern Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York.
