Club history

North West was called Western Transvaal from October 1991 until February 1996, changing its name after the Transvaal became Gauteng. It has been part of the Lions from October 2004. Richard Stroh who played for North West is currently playing for Cuckney Cricket Club, near Worksop and Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, England. He is coaching cricket and Cuckney have just won the Bassetlaw Division One and have been promoted to the Nottinghamshire Premier Division.
