Route

The northern terminus of this line is located at the Northline Transit Center on Fulton just north of Crosstimbers. Travelling south on Fulton, the line approaches reaches its next station at Melbourne, just north of I-610

. After passing under the freeway, the next station is located at Graceland. Continuing down Fulton, the line approaches Cavalcade and Moody Park Stations. Just as the route veers onto Boundary does the line reach its next station. Turning south onto Main Street, the line stops at Quitman before reaching Burnett Station/Intermodal Facility. From there it will travel through the campus of the University of Houston–Downtown

 (UHD) prior to connecting the Red Line track at UH–Downtown station. The length of line south of Hogan Street will be located on an elevated structure. The remainder of the line will be at-grade.

Construction

Construction began July 2009, and will continue until approx. 2014, its estimated time of opening.
