, United States. North Lincoln was completed in 2003, and the total student population is approximately 1,050. The school mascot is the Knight, and the school colors (as originally adopted) are Royal Blue, Silver, and Black, with white as an accent color. The principal is Marty Helton. Assistant principals are Debbie Smith and Ken Hopkins.

History

North Lincoln was completed in 2003 and became the fourth high school in the Lincoln County.
school district. A majority of students for the new school came from East Lincoln High School .

Athletics

North Lincoln has a variety of athletic teams. The North Lincoln Men's Golf Team won back to back state 2A championships in 2009 and 2010. The women's basketball team placed first in the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A conference tournament in February (2009).

Marching Band

The North Lincoln Band of Knights has received many accolades including making finals at Western Carolina's Tournament of Champions seven years in a row. In 2009, at the Tournament of Champions, they received the Role of Honor which is awarded to the highest scoring band from the state of North Carolina. In 2009, the North Lincoln Band of Knights also participated in Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. They have also won many local grand championships at various High Schools.
