Certifications

On October 1, 2010, Nortec EHR 7.0 was awarded distinction as an ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certified COMPLETE EHR by CCHIT, which certifies that the EHR is capable of meeting the 2011/2012 criteria supporting Stage 1 meaningful use as approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). Certification is required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

As of May 12, 2010, Nortec EHR v7.0 received designations as a CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR, a Preliminary ARRA IFR Stage 1 certified EHR and a recipient of a five star usability rating. Only 1 other EHR system has received all three credentials
